HVAC service areas in Central Texas

Our heating and cooling service area follows the I-35 corridor north and south of Buda, reaches west into the Hill Country and runs east toward Bastrop. Here is how the towns we visit most often line up by county.

Hays County is home. Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, Wimberley and Dripping Springs are all here, and they are the shortest drive from our shop.

Travis County covers Austin and its edges, from Manchaca and South Austin just up the highway from Buda, to Pflugerville northeast of the city, to Lakeway and Bee Cave out west toward Lake Travis.

Williamson County takes in Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leander and Hutto, north of Austin. A few of these cities cross into Travis County at the edges, which makes no difference to the service you get.

Bastrop County sits east of Austin along State Highway 71, and we serve the city of Bastrop and the homes around it.

Caldwell County lies east of Kyle and San Marcos. It is part of the same five-county footprint, so if you live there, call and we will set up a time.

Buda is home base

Cool Kings has worked out of Buda since 2015, when Terry Lutrick and his son Corey started the company. Sitting on I-35 between Austin and San Marcos puts us within reach of both ends of the corridor. A technician heading north reaches Manchaca and South Austin first, and one heading south reaches Kyle and San Marcos without crossing downtown.

Kyle and the south corridor

Kyle sits right next door to Buda, close enough that it has its own page on our site. Same-day appointments across the area

Same-day appointments are open to every town on this page, not only the ones closest to Buda. When you call (512) 318-7212, we look for an opening that same day. We are closed on Sunday, and same-day service runs within our Monday through Saturday hours, so if your HVAC system quits in the evening, call when we open and we will look for a slot that day.

The schedule fills fastest during summer heat waves. Calling at the first sign of trouble helps: warm air from the vents, an outdoor unit that hums but does not spin, or water collecting around the indoor unit.

HVAC services in every county we cover

The same services are available everywhere in our area, from Georgetown down to San Marcos. On the cooling side, that means AC repair for systems that stop cooling or will not turn on, and AC condenser repair for the outdoor unit, including capacitors, contactors, fan motors and coils.

For cold snaps, our heating repair covers gas furnaces and heat pumps. Central Texas winters are short, but freezes like Winter Storm Uri in February 2021 are a reminder that a working heating system matters here too.
